Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\RVT 2016 on your machine and look for two folders, one called Libraries and the other called Lookup tables there, and look in the folders to see if there are files and information there.

If so, then go into your Revit options>File Locations> and update the Default path for family template files:

Then close and reopen Revit. For us this resolved the issue.

If this doesn't resolve the issue, or if those files do not exist on your machines, please let us know.

If those files aren't on your computer, but they are on another computer in the office, you can copy them over locally. If this isn't an option, then you can go into the Control Panel>Programs and Features>Revit Content Libraries>Uninstall/Change and choose the Add or Remove features option. and Add the US Imperial and US Metric content in.

If you have any questions, please let us know.
